General Description:
Looking for ministry minded team players with a desire to work in a residential setting partnering with women in stabilization, growth and transformation. Residential experience is preferred. Experience working with those in recovery is preferred. Confidentiality is a must.
Residential Care Coach is responsible for maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment and coordinating program activities to meet the needs of program residents. She workso in a collaborative environment to provide the optimal continuum of care for each resident. This is not a medical facility. CNA/GNA and Med Tech not required.
Holidays are required
Starting at $17 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities vary across shifts:
House Management
- Maintain order and safety for all women, volunteers, staff, and visitors
- Maintain the cleaning and running of the house: check that Residents are completing daily household tasks and weekly chores.
- Supervise Residents in meal preparation
- Add maintenance issues to list.
Resident Care responsibilities differ across shifts
- Uphold the policies, procedures, and core values, of the program.
- Implement daily schedules.
- Review and practice program policies and expectations consistently with residents.
- Administer and document prescribed, and OTC medication use of participants.
- Coordinate activities and model behaviors that encourage personal wellness.
- Maintain healthy relational boundaries with residents and staff.
- Drive residents to activities and events using provided vehicle
Communication
- Complete Shift Notes at the end of work shift.
- Maintain daily communication with Program Director concerning scheduling and events
- Participate in regular staff meetings, staff training programs, supervisory sessions, and accept the responsibility for aiding the development of positive team relationships.
- Report and document any resident or staff incidents, conflicts, or emergencies.
- Provide progress updates to Program Director and On-Staff Case Manager upon request.
Qualifications
- An associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university in behavioral or social sciences, social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy or a related field, or a high school diploma or GED with two years of direct service experience or trauma-related service provision.
- Experience working with those in recovery
- Knowledge of/experience with trauma-informed care and/or residential services to women.
- Experience with problem–solving, conflict resolution and crisis management.
- Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Competent in professional reporting and communication
- Background checks, fingerprinting and random drug testing required
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required

Physical requirements
- Must have the ability to use techniques to get oneself out of a potentially violent situation
- Must have the ability to physically climb stairs and walk without assistance
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Will be required to drive residents to events using our mini van
